Biography
I joined the Claremont League of Women Voters in 1982. For many years I enjoyed attending the monthly units, especially when local, state and national studies were discussed. Reaching consensus was such a creative way to decide how to present a position. Before I returned to teaching in 1994, I had been the head of the local Speakers' Bureau and Action Vice President.
Once I retired from teaching in 2010, I became a League Board Member and then Vice President of Administration. I teamed up with Ruth Currie to be Co-President for two years between 2013-2015. I remain a Board Member of the Mt Baldy Area League, enjoying both long time members and new members alike.
