Biography
I have been a member of the LWV Mt. Baldy Area for 7 years. During that time I have been Director of Development (fund-raising), Vice-President, and President. I am currently a Director and I manage our Club Express web site. I first joined the LWV in 1973 in the Arcadia League. There I learned to use consensus in place of voting, to be a discussion leader, and how to run studies. At that time the local paper would only list names of women by their married name (Mrs. so and so). I became known in that league as the one who lead the movement to use my name or not allow my photo to be used in the paper.
